The Cyber Academy aims to be a place where professionals can meet and discuss the key topics on Cyber Security, along with engaging with a range of bodies in order to articulate best practice, support innovation and enterprise, and enable debate. Where societies exist, The Cyber Academy will host the advancement of their activities, and provide direct input into their operation. If there is gaps in enabling debate, The Cyber Academy aims to bring forward debate, either with a short-term society, or provide a foundation for members to create a long-standing one.
Digital Forensics and Incident Response Society
There is a strong need for a society which pushes forward digital forensics, so, in association with Strathclyde Forensics, The Cyber Academy is hosting the creation of new Digital Forensics and Incident Response society. This society may be a short-term society, or create a foundation for long-standing one. The inital meeting will debate its requirement and membership. More details here.
